Selang beberapa tahun kemudian, berdasarkan teori gelombang elektromagnetik cahaya, <strong>Ludwig Boltzmann<\/strong> menurunkan hukum yang diungkapkan oleh Stefan dari gabungan termodinamika dan persamaan-persamaan Maxwell.
