The Ruangguru Management Associate Program (MAP) is a 2-year accelerated career track designed to prepare future leaders, innovators and changemakers of the EdTech industry. Play your part in shaping the ever-growing digital landscape of Southeast Asian education, by taking ownership of high-level projects and experiencing in-depth leadership coaching.
Throughout the 2-year period, you will experience exciting rotations to 3 different business functions, with each rotation lasting for 7 months. This will provide you with an all-inclusive skillset, ensuring that you have all the expertise to be a strategic and forward-thinking business leader in the digital tech industry.

Selection into the program is more stringent, prioritizing those aspiring to be future leaders.

In-Class Learning Program
Management Associates are equipped with core business competencies and leadership coaching, including Ruangguru’s CHIEF principles.
Rotations to 3 business functions over 2 years, focusing on strategic projects while being closely mentored by high-level business leaders.
Final Assesment & Graduation
After 2 years, Management Associates will have a final evaluation and will be placed in a permanent business function, by considering the business needs, performance results, and career aspirations.

Once your profile is chosen, you will take part in several online aptitude tests, and you will be required to submit a short self-introductory video.
Panel Interview with Senior Management
Here you will have a panel interview with our senior leaders, coming from the business functions that you chose during your initial application.
Super Challenge Day
The final stage will require you to work on a business study case and present the result in front of our Board of Management.

Congratulations, you’ve passed all the stages! We’ll send you an offering letter and onboard you for the next MAP intake.

Who can apply?
This program is open to all final-year students & fresh graduates with up to 2 years working experience. Open to all South East Asian Nationalities but must be willing to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
What should I prepare for my application?
In general, you only have to prepare your most updated resume. (Tip: Keep resume to strictly 1 page only, highlighting any previous internship experience, achievements, leadership experience).
How is the selection process like?
After reviewing your application and resume, we will decide if your profile suits the kind of high-caliber talent that we are looking for as a Ruangguru Management Associate. If yes, we will invite you to submit a short self-introductory video and take an online aptitude test. Afterwards you will have a panel interview with business leaders from your 2 chosen functions. Selected candidates will then be invited to the Super Challenge Day: an individual business case presentation in front of our senior management!
How long will the recruitment process take?

Can I apply more than once but to different functions? (eg: Human Resource & Product Design)
You are only permitted to apply once, and you must choose your top 2 most preferred functions.
What are your criteria in selecting the MAPs?
We will assess each candidate holistically. We look at academic performance and achievements/awards, non-academic achievements/awards, leadership experience in co-curricular activities, internship experience and also your personal cause/passion. We will also want to know whether you embody the values of Ruangguru’s C.H.I.E.F culture (https://career.ruangguru.com/our-values).
How should I prepare to be excellent during Super Challenge Day ?
You should do your "homework" / research on all things Ruangguru, including all our different products/services, as well as our communication across so many touchpoints like social media, website, etc. You will be given limited time to work on your business case presentation, thus doing research beforehand will give you an advantage.
How long is the program? When does it start?
The program is a two-year journey, consisting of 3 functions/roles in Ruangguru. The participant will be evaluated by the Head/Manager of the function/role at the end of each rotation against a set of OKRs (objectives and key results).
Current applications are for the November 2022 intake.

If I am not based in Jakarta, can I join this program?
Yes, anyone anywhere is allowed to apply for this program. We are currently still working fully online. However, should there be any changes to our working arrangements, you might be required to be based in Jakarta.
How many candidates that are going to be accepted?
There is no specific amount, we will accept you as long as your qualifications are up to our standards.
How will my rotations be chosen?
During the initial application, you are required to choose your top 2 functions. We will then prioritize your first rotation to be in one of your chosen functions. For the next 2 rotations, we will have discussions based on your preference and what is currently available, and we will help you decide which functions will provide you with the most exposure and self-development.
